Ben Kay, part of ITV’s Rugby World Cup team, is fronting a campaign with fellow ex-England Rugby legends Jonny Wilkinson, Martin Johnson, Matt Dawson and Jason Leonard to encourage more people to give blood. The NHS are hoping to bring in 100,000 new donors because less than 3% of people in the country donated in the last year. We don’t have enough new donors coming forward to provide the right mix of blood to match patients’ needs and replace those who can’t donate any more.
