Steve McManaman moved into the media after a playing career that saw him become one of the most decorated English footballer’s of his time. His career included spells at two of European football’s most successful clubs, Liverpool and Real Madrid.
He was the first British player to win the UEFA Champions League title twice, and was also the first English footballer to win the Champions League with a non-English club.
He was capped 37 times for England and was part of the Euro 96 & 2000 and Wolrd Cup squad of 98. He won the FA Cup and League Cup with Liverpool and La Liga and Champions League twice with Real Madrid.
