Lucy is a trained meteorologist and after years of people waking up to her on breakfast TV, she now fronts the weather on ITV News during the afternoons and evenings and flagship show News At Ten.

Having worked in weather and newsrooms for over 10 years, she worked as a forecaster at Europe’s biggest private weather company Meteogroup at the Press Association from the age of 19 before moving into broadcast and presenting regular live weather for Sky News, Sky Sports News and updates during the 2009 Ashes series.

Lucy has covered everything from Hurricane Katrina, the ash cloud that blighted Europe, the record breaking hot summer of 2003 and winter of 2010, the Olympics, the Royal Wedding, Queens Jubilee and regularly updates viewers and listeners on test match cricket coverage.

Lucy writes forecasts for The Times Sport and is a regular writer for The Mail on Sunday Travel.
